Q&A

What’s your favorite quote?
“It’s a dangerous business, Frodo, going out your door…You step into the Road, and if you don’t keep your feet, there is no knowing where you might be swept off to.”
What’s your favorite way to spend your commuting time?
I’ve found that a great way to recharge (or unwind) is to focus on something completely external to myself, so I’ve started listening to podcasts. My favorite one is called Mobituaries, and features fascinating and hilarious obituaries of somewhat famous people who, for various reasons, never received their due.
What was your very first job?
I started working when I was 16 as a veterinary assistant and a barista at my small hometown’s coffee shop. Both roles required hard work, long days and humility. I learned the importance of doing all jobs well, no matter how large or small the job, and the satisfaction that comes from serving others.
