Emily Colantino

As LP’s Chief Practice & Operations Officer, Emily leads practice management and operations, building scalable infrastructure to enhance performance and maximize client value. She partners with practice group leaders and senior leadership to align strategic priorities with the systems, workflows, and capabilities that enable LP to deliver an industry-leading client experience.

Emily brings expertise in knowledge management, legal operations, and applying AI to streamline workflows, increase efficiency, and unlock institutional knowledge.  Recognized for her strategic insight and practical approach, she builds trusted partnerships across the firm to unite diverse stakeholders, drive innovation, and execute complex initiatives that advance LP's commitment to exceptional client service.   

Before joining LP, Emily served as Senior Director of Operations at Manatt and as Chief of Staff and Director of Business Management for North America at Baker McKenzie. She holds a J.D., with honors, from the University of Texas School of Law and a B.A., magna cum laude, from Northwestern University. In her free time, she enjoys reading memoirs, visiting new cafes, and running along Chicago’s lakefront.
