Aria D. Eckersley


Aria is an associate in the firm’s Corporate Practice Group. She advises clients on a variety of corporate matters including mergers and acquisitions, contract negotiation and corporate governance matters. Prior to joining LP, Aria was an associate at Baker McKenzie in Chicago, where she advised multinational companies on global and domestic transactional matters, including mergers and acquisitions, corporate reorganizations and other strategic transactions. While attending The University of Chicago Law School, Aria served as a student clinician in the Institute for Justice Clinic on Entrepreneurship providing legal advocacy for low-income entrepreneurs in Chicago with respect to start-up, corporate and regulatory issues.

If I wasn’t an attorney, I would be an interior designer.
How do you spend your free time?
I spend my free time trying out new restaurants in the city, pottery wheel throwing, and going to concerts and museums.
