Chambers High Net Worth Guide Ranks LP Trusts & Estates Group Among Best in Illinois for Eighth Straight Year

CHICAGO, July 20, 2023 – Levenfeld Pearlstein is pleased to announce that, for the eighth consecutive year, its Trusts & Estates Practice Group has been ranked among the best in Illinois by the Chambers High Net Worth Guide. Additionally, Jared Cloud was ranked in the category of Private Wealth Disputes in Illinois, and Lauren Wolven was also recognized for her in skills in Private Wealth Law in the Central Region of the U.S.

The only legal ranking publication specifically aimed at the international private wealth market, Chambers High Net Worth Guide gathers substantive feedback from clients and peers from across the nation. One source described LP attorneys as “at the top of the market in terms of intellectual capital. They are also extremely nice people and are a joy to work with.” Others echoed this praise, saying, “I feel very comfortable working with everyone there. They can handle complex situations in a really effective way and explain the issues to individuals.”

The observations gathered regarding LP’s individually ranked attorneys included similar feedback.

Jared Cloud was praised for his experience in handling complex matters. One interviewee said that “Jared is experienced in handling complex trust matters and skilled at applying his knowledge to unique matters.” Another noted that his “knowledge of the law is excellent, and he is a skilled negotiator who knows when to fight and when to resolve amicably.”

Adam Garber was recognized for being “a common-sense lawyer; he is very personable and highly responsive.”

Carrie Harrington, who is chair of the Trusts & Estates Group, was recognized for taking “a fresh look at issues and helps to craft new, practical strategies.” Another interviewee remarked that “[s]he is appropriately careful, and you can trust her to get things right.”

Stuart Kohn was praised as “a really excellent attorney who understands complex issues” with a source saying that he “does a great job helping get clients to the right decision in a way that they feel heard and engaged.”

Robert Romanoff was recognized by clients for his technical skills and guidance. One client noted that “[h]is technical skills are among the best we have seen, and he is both creative and practical.” Another client said, “He is very much on top of the detail and guides clients brilliantly. Robert is an incredible lawyer and a true counsellor to clients.”

Sheri Warsh was praised for being “very good at distilling complex legal points into plain English for clients and other advisers to understand. She is also very technically savvy.”

Lauren Wolven was acknowledged as a comprehensive attorney, with one commenter saying, “she is truly the complete package for an ultra-high net worth person or family seeking sound legal and tax advice.” Another interviewee said that “Lauren has a great ability to connect with clients,” adding that “[h]er planning is very sophisticated.”
