  • Represented the Official Committee of Unsecured Creditors in the chapter 11 cases of two rural hospital operators.
  • Represented a Creditor Trust in post plan confirmation matters in the chapter 11 cases of two rural hospital operators.
  • Represented a subordinated secured creditor in the bankruptcy case of a non-profit healthcare system, including negotiating financing orders that enabled the favorable treatment of the client’s secured claims in the plan of reorganization.
  • Represented a stalking horse bidder in a 363 sale of a continuing care retirement community.
  • Represented a member group who held an interest in a Catholic hospital system that was sold in a bankruptcy-related sale.
  • Represented the ground lessor in a high-profile chapter 11 case for a continuing care retirement community, including obtaining the largest “cure” award ever granted to a landlord in connection with the assumption and assignment of a lease in bankruptcy.
  • Represented operator of senior living facility in its chapter 11 bankruptcy case.
  • Represented operators of senior living facilities in out of court restructurings.
  • Represented an independent physician practice as lead chapter 11 counsel following a large judgment entered against it in state court.
