Jen Manna

Partner

A partner in the firm’s Real Estate Practice Group, Jen represents developers, owners, landlords, tenants, and property management firms in commercial real estate transactions and in the operational aspects of their business across office, multifamily, retail, and industrial properties. She has led complex leasing transactions, acquisitions and dispositions, development projects, financings, joint ventures, land use and entitlement matters, private placements, and tax-advantaged structures, and helped clients build their operations platforms to allow them to efficiently scale.

Drawing on her tenured experience building and leading in-house legal and operations teams at a national real estate investment trust and a leading development firm, Jen delivers business-focused legal advice. She provides practical solutions and strategic guidance to help clients mitigate risk and achieve their business objectives.

Jen earned her J.D., magna cum laude, from Washington University School of Law and holds a B.A. from Washington University in St. Louis. She enjoys spending time with family, outdoor activities, travel, mountaineering, music, supporting Wisconsin sports teams, cooking, and reading.

  • What was your very first job?
    Waiting tables at a fast-casual Mexican restaurant. It helped me develop my communication, customer service, and time-management skills while encouraging resilience and quick decision-making.

  • What’s your favorite vacation spot?
    Patagonia. With its endless mountains, lakes, and trails and delicious food and wine, I could spend a lifetime exploring it.

  • What is the most interesting part of your job?
    Partnering with my clients to help them achieve their business objectives while ensuring they are legally protected.
