What is Litigation Finance, and What it Means to Litigants, Attorneys and Investors

Litigation finance is a non-traditional asset class in which a third party unrelated to a lawsuit provides capital to a plaintiff or law firm in exchange for a portion of any financial recovery from the lawsuit.
