In the article, 'Levenfeld Pearlstein Adds Branding Pro To Chicago IP Team' published by Law360, Paula Krasny discusses what prompted her make the move to Levenfeld Pearlstein.
Paula Krasny joins LP after spending more than three years with Culhane Meadows, a cloud-based law firm staffed by former BigLaw and in-house attorneys.
She told Law360 that she enjoyed her time with the firm but chose to explore other opportunities because the nature of cloud-based work began to make her feel isolated, and the business model itself “had some built-in limitations.”
“I was also seeking more in-person collaboration,” Krasny said. “In my first month at LP, I have already started collaborating on client matters and I am getting a lot of assistance with my practice.”
Krasny, whose resume also includes a 13-year stint at Baker McKenzie and more than 10 years with McDermott Will & Emery LLP, said working under Levenfeld Pearlstein’s entrepreneurial business strategy — which focuses on transparency, problem solving and client service — allows her to apply her training in ways that better align with how she likes to serve her clients.
“I also wanted the opportunity to share my knowledge with other lawyers, given that I am a seasoned practitioner and like working with and teaching others,” she told Law360.
