Levenfeld Pearlstein Names Elizabeth Vandesteeg Litigation Practice Group Leader

Chicago, IL – Levenfeld Pearlstein, LLC (LP) is pleased to announce that Elizabeth (Lisa) Vandesteeg has been appointed as the firm’s next Practice Group Leader of the Litigation Group, effective July 1, 2026.

Lisa is a business litigator with a primary focus on bankruptcy and restructuring litigation, representing clients in courts across the country. She advises on complex commercial and bankruptcy disputes where legal strategy must align with business objectives. She brings additional experience in data privacy and cybersecurity, with a particular focus on the intersection of bankruptcy transparency requirements and evolving data protection laws.

Known for her thoughtful and pragmatic approach, Lisa is recognized for quickly identifying the issues that matter most and guiding clients through high-stakes disputes with clarity and efficiency. She collaborates closely across practice groups to deliver coordinated, business-focused solutions and is widely regarded within the firm as a trusted mentor, valued teammate, and engaged leader.

In addition to her practice, Lisa is an active member of the firm’s Professional Development Committee, where she plays a key role in developing LP’s next generation of attorneys and leaders. She also serves on the Board of Directors of the American Bankruptcy Institute, underscoring her national profile and deep engagement in the restructuring community. A Chambers-ranked attorney, Lisa has also been recognized by Super Lawyers and Lawdragon for her work in bankruptcy and restructuring litigation.
