Joy is an associate in LP’s Real Estate Practice Group. She represents commercial landlords and tenants in leasing transactions for office, retail, warehouse, and industrial space. She also represents buyers and sellers in commercial real estate acquisitions and dispositions, including mixed-use, office, hospitality, retail, and industrial properties.
Additionally, Joy has experience representing lenders in complex multi-asset commercial real estate financing deals, including CMBS mortgage originations, mezzanine loans, and loan assumptions.
Joy earned her J.D. from Northwestern Pritzker School of Law and her B.A. from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Before joining LP, she was an associate at Sidley Austin LLP and
Benesch Friedlander Coplan & Aronoff LLP. Her hobbies include NFL football, literary translation, and crossword construction.
