Q&A
If you weren’t an attorney, what would you do?
First choice would be to play center field for the Cubs. If that didn’t work out, most of my family have been journalists or teachers. What are the top three attributes of your best clients?
Smart, funny, and pay their bills on time. What is the most interesting part of your job?
Making oral arguments in front of an intelligent, engaged, and well-prepared court. A recent oral argument before the Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit in Republic Technologies (NA), LLC et al v. BBK Tobacco & Foods, LLP (7th Cir. 2025) featured all of that.
