Chloe A. Russell

Chloe is an associate in LP’s Trusts & Estates Practice Group. She helps high-net-worth individuals and families implement estate planning and wealth planning strategies. She prepares wills, powers of attorney, and various trust agreements, including special needs trusts, residence trusts, irrevocable gifting trusts, ILITs, SLATs, CRUTs, premarital agreements, nonjudicial settlement agreements, trustee modifications, and documents relating to trust administration and probate pleadings. When crafting strategies and drafting documents, Chloe helps clients navigate tax code regulations on gift and generation-skipping transfer taxes, and the selection of optimal beneficiary designations for retirement assets and investments. 

Additionally, Chloe advises clients on the transfer of business interests, including drafting promissory notes and assignments of interest, and assists with fiduciary litigation matters when disputes arise.

Working in close collaboration with clients, Chloe provides peace of mind and compassion in sensitive and challenging situations. 

Chloe earned her J.D., cum laude, from Chicago-Kent College of Lawand her B.S. from the University of Missouri-Columbia. In her free time, she enjoys riding horses, hiking with her husband, and spending time with her family and dogs.
