Analy Ayala Blanco

Associate

Analy is an associate in the Trusts & Estates Group. She advises high-net-worth clients on structuring and implementing estate planning strategies. She frequently drafts wills, revocable trusts, restatements of trusts, powers of attorney, and will codicils. She works closely with clients to accomplish their goals regarding asset protection, business success planning, and estate and gift tax.

In addition to handling trusts and estates matters, Analy also has experience with immigration matters. She participated in the University of Illinois College of Law’s Immigration Law Clinic for two years during law school. She also volunteered at a non-profit organization as a citizenship tutor and assisted immigration attorneys with naturalization applications.

Analy earned her J.D., cum laude, from the University of Illinois College of Law and her B.A., summa cum laude, from Aurora University. She is a member of the Hispanic National Bar Association and the Hispanic Lawyers Association of Illinois.

  • If you weren’t an attorney, what would you be?
    If I wasn’t an attorney, I would be an interior designer or a wedding planner because I love connecting with clients and helping their vision come to life. Being a part of these special moments would make the job even more rewarding.

  • What’s your favorite way to spend your commuting time?
    My favorite way to spend my commuting time is listening to a motivational podcast that fuels my mind with positive thoughts and beginning my day energized and ready to tackle any challenges. At the end of a long work day, listening to a podcast is grounding, reminding me that there is a lot to be grateful for.

  • What is a personal accomplishment you’d like to share from the past year
    One of my biggest accomplishments has been receiving a CALI Excellence for the Future Award for my work as a Student Clinician at the University of Illinois College of Law’s Immigration Law Clinic. My immigration clients were the most important aspect of my law school journey and reminded me of the deep significance that pro bono work has in our clients’ lives.

  • What’s your favorite vacation spot?
    My favorite vacation spot is a cabin in the mountains with a hot tub and no Wi-Fi!
