Varun Chari is an associate in the Real Estate Group. He concentrates his practice on commercial leasing and sophisticated real estate transactions, including commercial acquisitions and dispositions.
He advises landlords, developers, real estate investment trusts (REITs), institutional owners, asset managers, and tenants in all aspects of commercial leasing, including office, retail, industrial, and warehouse leasing, workletters, service contracts, property management agreements, brokerage agreements, construction agreements, and medical office leasing. He represents landlords and tenants with a national presence, including landlords with assets in California, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Texas, Minnesota, and New York, and tenants with national retail and warehouse operations.
Varun has also represented clients on purchase and sale transactions and has experience negotiating and drafting purchase and sale agreements, conducting due diligence, reviewing titles and surveys, and managing closings.
