Levenfeld Pearlstein is pleased to announce that for the fifth consecutive year, its Trusts & Estates Practice Group has been ranked among the best in Illinois by the Chambers High Net Worth Guide. In addition to the practice’s ranking for Private Wealth Law, partners Stuart Kohn, Robert Romanoff, Sheri Warsh, and Lauren Wolven are recognized by Chambers for their prowess in trusts and estates law. The only legal ranking publication specifically aimed at the international private wealth market, Chambers High Net Worth Guide gathers substantive feedback from clients and peers from across the nation.

Described by one source as a “great firm [with] a tremendously deep bench in the trusts and estates area,” and by another as “a force to be reckoned with,” LP’s Trusts & Estates Group helps individuals and families achieve their business and personal planning goals, be it gift, charitable, or estate planning.

LP was also lauded in the guide for its ability to attract and develop young attorneys: “They also have some really outstanding associates; when the work is being done by more junior people, they are really excellent as well…They attract talent. They also appreciate what each person brings to the firm and they learn from each other.”

Stuart Kohn

Leading LP’s Trusts & Estates Group, Stuart advises wealthy clients on business succession and tax planning. A Chambers source notes: “He goes above and beyond for clients,” adding that “his technical skills are awesome.” Another interviewee notes: “He is obviously very smart. He's very good on the law but also is one of those people who looks at the best way to resolve an issue.”

Robert Romanoff

Praised by a Chambers source as “one of the finest lawyers out there,” who is “… able to really help clients navigate a lot of difficult issues," Rob is highly regarded for his estate planning expertise and client skills: “He is a true client adviser, he's a trusted confidant and adviser,” comments another industry expert.

Sheri Warsh

Sheri is particularly well regarded for her experience advising closely held businesses. Chambers sources also praise her client skills: “She is very good in her responsiveness, and her demeanor with clients is excellent,” reports one wealth adviser, while another interviewee says: “She’s smart, she's very efficient and she responds immediately.”

Lauren Wolven

Lauren advises on estate planning and administration, trust administration and succession planning. A wealth expert tells Chambers that “she is just phenomenal.” Sources also highlight her client service: “She is technically terrific, but she is also extremely good with clients, she is extremely practical in her approach, and she can explain the most complex things in really understandable ways.” Another interviewee agrees, saying: “She really takes care of her clients and she runs their world when they don't want to.”
