Karly is an associate in LP’s Corporate Practice Group. She advises clients in mergers and acquisitions, private equity investments, corporate governance, and other commercial matters. 

Karly earned her J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School and her B.A. from the University of Michigan. Before joining LP, she was an associate at Winston & Strawn LLP. While in law school, she was a judicial intern for the Honorable Laurie J. Michelson, Federal District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan, a student attorney at the University of Michigan Pediatric Advocacy Clinic, an Executive Editor of the Michigan Journal of Race and Law, and a member of the Race and Curriculum Committee.In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, lakefront runs, weightlifting, and listening to philosophy podcasts.
