Kellye Bowers is a partner in the Real Estate Group where she represents landlords and tenants in commercial office, industrial, retail and mixed-use projects. Throughout her practice, Kellye serves as a skilled advisor to owners, developers, investors, managers, operators and lenders on landlord-tenant matters and a variety of leasing and subleasing issues. Her background includes full floor office leases, build-to-suit leases and projects of all sizes in major commercial centers at both a local and national level.

With more than 15 years of experience, Kellye brings a business mindset to every transaction and relies on her sense of urgency and attention to detail to get the deal done quickly and efficiently. Her responsiveness and genuine interest in the client and their business creates a connection that fosters collaboration throughout the relationship. Most importantly, the client's objectives are at the forefront of every transaction.

Prior to joining LP, Kellye was an attorney at another law firm in Chicago, building her practice with a focus on leasing. Before that, she served as in-house counsel with a national commercial real estate developer, owner and manager. Kellye also has experience with acquisition, disposition and development of land and environmental contamination and mold issues, as well as, tenant bankruptcies and defaults.

What is the best piece of advice you ever received?
"Surround yourself with people smarter than you and better at your job than you. It's the best way to learn." It is one of the many reasons why I joined Levenfeld Pearlstein.
What was the first album you ever bought?
The first album I bought was Blondie, Parallel Lines. I knew every song by heart and thought how cool Blondie was rapping in Rapture.
