On November 13, 2012, Stuart Kohn, head of the firm's Asset Planning and Preservation Group, along with David Isaacson of Walls Fargo Bank, will be presenting a program entitled, "Post-Election Tax Planning: Now What?" The presentation is designed to be an objective discussion of possible tax policy on the horizon, given the election results, and estate and tax planning considerations. The speakers will cover: post election effect on the economy and markets, a broad overview of what tax legislation might be expected in 2013, leveraging pre-2013 tax legislation to maximize potential tax savings before year-end, and pending legislation regarding charitable giving and specific charitable pallning ideas.
