Russell Shapiro speaking at the 5th Annual Steel Scrap Conference

Russell Shapiro, chair of the firm’s Corporate Practice Group, will be speaking at the 5th Annual Steel Scrap Conference on November 9-10, 2011 at the Hyatt Regency in Chicago. The program will feature topic discussions by bringing the scrap industry’s most intuitive experts and industry leaders together. The two-day conference will address industry trends affecting the market the most, such as: vertical integration, M&A, supply and demand dynamics and the growing impact of import and export markets.

On Thursday, November 10th, Russell will be a panelist on the topic of, “Selling your Business and the World of M&A.” In a time of vertical integration, this panel will examine the complex issue of M&A by indulging in benefits, rising acquisition costs, and legal formalities. Russell’s presentation will specifically cover the transaction process from a legal perspective.
