Tax Planning & Litigation Partner Michael Tuchman will be a featured speaker in the ICPAS Taxation on Real Estate Conference. This conference will allow attendees to gain valuable insight into recent regulatory changes in real estate tax law, including tax-free exchanges, low income housing and allocation techniques that can accelerate the timing of tax deductions. Practitioners will hear about the likelihood of proposed new legislation becoming a reality.

Tuchman will present on ‘Tax Savings from Like-kind Exchanges and a Comprehensive Update of Section 1031.’ This section will examine recent regulatory and judicial decisions affecting the landscape of like-kind exchanges in real estate and how they can be leveraged to defer capital gains taxes indefinitely. Practice executing like-kind strategies as you review the possibilities that may have been dismissed or overlooked.
