Levenfeld Pearlstein, LLC (LP) is pleased to announce that Kellye Bowers, a veteran real estate attorney with over 15 years of industry experience, has joined the firm as a partner in its award-winning Real Estate Group. Bowers joins LP from Katten Muchin Rosenman LLP, where she was a member of its Real Estate Practice. Earlier in her career, she worked in the legal department of a national commercial real estate developer.
Bowers represents landlords and tenants in commercial office, industrial, retail, and mixed-use projects. Throughout her practice, she serves as a trusted advisor to owners, developers, investors, managers, operators, and lenders on landlord-tenant matters, and a variety of leasing and subleasing issues. She is experienced in structuring full-floor office leases, build-to-suit leases and projects of all sizes in major commercial centers at both a local and national level. Bowers' background also includes acquisition, disposition, and development of land, and environmental contamination and mold issues, as well as tenant bankruptcies and defaults.
"Kellye's breadth of real estate industry experience, along with a background that includes both representing the client and being the client, gives her a perspective that was very attractive to our group, and meshes well with our team," said Keith A. Ross, partner and Chair of LP’s Chambers-ranked Real Estate Group. "Kellye brings a sound business approach to every matter she touches, and has the ability to get deals done quickly and efficiently. And of course, her focus on the client experience at every stage of a matter, means that she is already living the LP Way."
Bowers earned her J.D. and her M.P.A. from the Indiana University Maurer School of Law, and her B.A. from the University of Kentucky, where she graduated summa cum laude.
