Levenfeld Pearlstein Elevates Jeffery D. Hoffenberg and Sun Pae to Partners at Firm

Promotions Effective January 1, 2015

Levenfeld Pearlstein is proud to announce that Jeffery Hoffenberg, a member of the firm’s Real Estate Group, and Sun Pae, a member of the firm’s Intellectual Property group, have been promoted to partner.

“Jeff and Sun are extraordinary attorneys who exemplify LP’s singular commitment to providing our clients with the outstanding law firm experience they deserve,” said Robert A. Romanoff, managing partner of Levenfeld Pearlstein. “Their promotions have been well-earned, and I know that I speak for our entire partnership in saying that we are excited to witness their continued professional growth at LP.”

Hoffenberg, who joined LP in 2011, represents sellers, purchasers and lenders in a wide range of commercial real estate matters, including acquisitions, dispositions, sale-leaseback transactions, and mortgage financings. He has extensive experience in drafting, reviewing and negotiating loan documents, purchase and sale agreements, management agreements, corporate documentation, and due diligence, as well as lease agreements in connection with commercial, industrial, and retail leasing transactions.

Pae has more than seven years of experience helping clients establish and protect their intellectual property rights in the United States and abroad. She frequently advises clients on legal matters in the areas of medical devices, polymeric materials, adhesives, chemiluminescent compositions, sterilization systems and indicators, confectionery manufacturing, nanofibers, filtration, and software.

Hoffenberg earned his B.A. from the University of Michigan and his J.D. from the University of Chicago. Pae received her B.S. from the University of Illinois, her M.S. from the Illinois Institute of Technology, and her J.D. from Northern Illinois University.
