Lauren Wolven to Speak at PEPC’s October Luncheon

Trust & Estates Partner Lauren Wolven will be the speaker at Philadelphia Estate Planning Council's (PEPC) October luncheon. With great expertise in the area, Lauren will present on topic, "The New Normal: Planning for the 'Modern Family.'" Considering the modern family to reduce conflicts through thoughtful drafting has become a significant aspect of estate planning. This session will focus on the dynamics of multigenerational estate planning and modernizing definitions of core terms such as "spouse" and "descendant." The session will also address crafting estate plans to deal with second (or subsequent) marriages, long-term non-marriage relationships, same-sex couples and twilight relationships.
