The U.S. Patent Law Committee of the Intellectual Property Law Association of Chicago will present "Managing Intellectual Property in a Recessionary Environment" on June 23. Mitch Weinstein, partner and head of the Intellectual Property Service Group will present on "Using Design Patents to Reduce Costs. Additional presentations will include: "Buying and Selling Patents to Maximize Profits," by John B. Hall of Intellectual Ventures LLC; and "TARP (Timely Advice is Recession-Proof): The Value of Patent Opinions After Seagate," by Julianne M. Hartzell of Marshall, Gerstein & Borun LLP.
The event, which offers 1.5 hours of MCLE credit. The cost is $20 for IPLAC members, $30 for non-members, and $10 for students.
