Jason Hirsh, a partner in the firm's Litigation group, was recently cited in an article published by the Michigan State Law Review. The article, "Built to Scale: Small Business Policy and the Meltdown," by Michael Malloy, examines the root causes and pervasive impact of the subprime mortgage market meltdown and the subsequent global financial cisis. In order to describe the initial U.S. responses to the crisis, Malloy cited an article Hirsh co-authored, entitled, "An Introduction to the Dodd-Frank Act—The New Regulatory Structure for Consumer Finance Emerges."
