Gary Blackman, a founding member of Levenfeld Pearlstein, LLC, will speak at the Chicago Bar Association Labor & Employment Law Committee Meeting on June 13, 2012. The meeting will be held from 12:15 PM to 1:30 PM at the CBA Headquarters.
Topic: Non-Competition/ Non-Solicitation Agreements in the Wake of Reliable Fire Equipment Co. v. Arredondo
How has Illinois law regarding the enforcement of non-competition agreements changed? How do these changes impact your clients' current agreements? - An overview of the Illinois Supreme Court's holding in Reliable Fire Equipment Co. v. Arredondo and how the ruling has impacted the non-competition landscape in Illinois
- Key elements of non-competition and non-solicitation agreements that you should consider when advising your clients, whether corporate or individual
- Enforcement of al challenges to non-competition and non-solicitation agreements via litigation
