LP partner Howard Dakoff was quoted in the Crain’s ChicagoRealEstateDaily.com article, "Mesirow scraps plan to sell condos to mental-health non-profit." The article is a follow-up to other recent articles regarding a dispute over whether a local non-profit has the ability to convert as many as 20 condominiums of a West Loop condominium project into housing for mental-health patients.

Mesirow Financial has now dropped the plan to convert the units after drawing overwhelming opposition to the proposal from the building's residents.
