Crain’s Chicago Business published an article featuring partners David Solomon and Laura Friedel on Levenfeld Pearlstein’s deliberate succession planning strategy.

Sixtieth birthdays are significant for many reasons. At LP, birthday candles can also signify a change in leadership. Last week the firm named David Solomon to head the Corporate & Securities group, taking over from Mary Wasik, who had hit the firm’s age ceiling for holding a top management spot. At the same time, Laura Friedel stepped in to run LP’s Labor & Employment group.
