What We Did
Our spring LP Client Experience communication informed you about LP's focus on the Three P's – pricing, project management and process improvement. That commitment has not waivered, and this spring, we notched another hole in our Three P’s belt – specifically a white belt. All attorneys, paralegals and directors were white belt certified by the Legal Lean Six Sigma institute in February, with another round of training coming February 2017.

White belt certification means your LP team has been trained to determine the best way to consistently and reliably deliver excellent quality of work and service. And our Corporate Group has already taken the next step in practicing effective project management. This April, the group spent two days mapping a sell-side M&A transaction. The group gained valuable insight about the procedures in place and has mapped some long term as well as immediate solutions to improve the process. Changes have already been made to client dashboards and plenty more improvements to M&A sell side transactions are in the works.
