What We Did
We firmly believe that our “LP Way” – the carefully-crafted set of business processes that governs everything we do – results both in an extremely high-level of client service and is a key differentiator for LP in a crowded legal marketplace. Still, we are always looking for ways to further improve the client experience, and what better way to generate ideas than asking our own employees?
In November, LP “Waysayers” presented their original ideas for improving the LP client experience, Shark Tank style. The groups were whittled down to the four most promising ideas via a firm-wide vote, and they then pitched their ideas live to three different LP clients in true Shark Tank fashion.
How This Impacts You
The LP Waysayers – groups of LP individuals that span title and experience – spent months developing their ideas for improving the client experience. The Shark Tank event was the culmination of those efforts. For an hour, everyone at LP – from partners to paralegals – was thinking exclusively about improving your client experience. It’s something that’s constantly top-of-mind, of course, but it’s not often that the entire firm gets an opportunity to singularly focus on this topic. Even more beneficial, actual clients told us what improvements they wanted to see. It got our collective wheels turning and reinforced that every LP employee’s number one goal should be providing you an exceptional client experience.
