Steven “Sonny” F. Ginsberg is a partner in the Real Estate & Finance Practice Group. He has over 17 years of experience in all aspects of commercial finance, with an emphasis on real estate lending, acquisition and development. He has worked with lenders and national funds to develop loan conduit program forms and guidelines, and also has expertise in structuring complex debt, mezzanine and equity vehicles.

He also represents a number of residential and commercial developers and landowners, and assists such clients in all aspects of their projects, from venture formation and the drafting of offering materials, through land use and acquisition, to for-sale development or project leasing. Sonny has a particular expertise in hospitality, advising clients in connection with hotel transactions and operations, including franchise and vendor agreements.

Sonny is a former Transportation Commissioner for the Village of Oak Park, where he resides, and he presently serves on the Oak Park Residence Corporation Board of Directors.
