Mary K. Wasik

Mary Wasik is a partner and Vice-Chair of the Corporate Practice Group. She is also a member of the Labor & Employment Service Group. Her general corporate representation is extensive and includes advising clients on structuring and preparation of limited liability company agreements, including real estate joint ventures, stock and asset purchase and sale agreements and shareholder agreements. She has worked with clients on stock restructurings and advised clients regarding their duties to shareholders and other day-to-day business matters, including the preparation of manufacturing, distribution and service agreements. Mary has helped clients obtain certifications as minority and women-owned businesses, including structuring sale and purchase transactions for purposes of retaining or obtaining such certifications.

In addition to her corporate representation, Mary has negotiated and drafted various employment and severance agreements, and advised clients with respect to employment-related matters. She also has experience structuring transactions between borrowers and lenders. Mary has represented clients in intellectual property matters, including trade and service mark registrations and license agreements.

Mary is a regular speaker on topics related to the formation and governance of limited liability companies.
