Elizabeth B. Vandesteeg

Elizabeth "Lisa" Vandesteeg is a associate in LP's Litigation, Bankruptcy, and Restructuring and Insolvency Practice Groups. She concentrates her practice in the areas of commercial litigation, bankruptcy litigation, commercial foreclosures and loan workouts.

Lisa works extensively in the area of creditors’ rights and bankruptcy, including Chapter 11 and Chapter 7 cases. She has represented secured creditors, unsecured creditors, unsecured creditors' committees, landlords and shareholders in courts throughout the U.S.

Lisa has also worked on all aspects of civil litigation in federal and state courts, from initial pleadings through discovery (including e-discovery), motion practice, trials and appeals. She has advised banks and other financial institutions, corporations, insurance companies, and individuals on a wide variety of commercial litigation matters, including: business tort, breach of contract and creditors' rights litigation.
