Levenfeld Pearlstein Adds Mark Kosminskas as Partner in Corporate Practice Group

CHICAGO – Levenfeld Pearlstein LLC is pleased to announce the addition of Mark Kosminskas as a partner in the firm’s Corporate Practice Group.

Mr. Kosminskas’ legal practice focuses on the representation of upper middle market companies and family owned businesses as well as capital providers in the structuring and negotiation of financial transactions. He brings a multidisciplinary approach to corporate work as a result of his experience as both an attorney and a financial professional, providing valuable insight to transactional matters that must be viewed from multiple perspectives. Mr. Kosminskas also has extensive experience representing troubled companies, their lenders and their purchasers in restructurings, workouts and distressed sales

Mr. Kosminskas, 48, joins Levenfeld Pearlstein after spending three years operating his own middle market M&A advisory practice, Kosmark Capital Advisors LLC. He previously spent 10 years practicing corporate and corporate finance law at Vedder, Price, Kaufman & Kammholz PC, and Schiff Hardin LLP. Earlier in his career he was a commercial lender at one of Chicago’s leading middle market financial institutions. There he negotiated, evaluated and structured, and monitored financing arrangements for family owned companies and entrepreneurs, providing growth and buyout capital for his clients.

Mr. Kosminskas earned his B.A. from the University of Chicago and his J.D. from the Loyola University Chicago School of Law. He also holds an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago. Mr. Kosminskas currently co-chairs the Chicago Bar Association’s Mergers and Acquisitions Subcommittee.
