CHICAGO – Levenfeld Pearlstein LLC is pleased to announce the addition of Mehgan Peetz as an associate in its Corporate Practice Group and Mergers, Acquisitions & Private Equity Service Group. Peetz, 29, joins the firm from the Chicago office of Kirkland & Ellis LLP. Her addition continues Levenfeld Pearlstein’s recent strong growth in core practices, where it has added six lateral attorneys in the last six months.
Peetz concentrates her practice in mergers and acquisitions, representing public and private companies in transactions and financings. She also negotiates and drafts agreements in connection with financings, private mergers, stock and asset purchases and other business combinations, and conducts and manages extensive due diligence, including review and analysis of equity, employment, supplier and customer agreements. In addition, Peetz advises private equity portfolio companies on general corporate matters and represents borrowers with respect to private secured and unsecured financings.
Peetz earned her B.A., cum laude, from University of Notre Dame and her J.D., cum laude, from University of Michigan Law School.
