Mark is a partner in the Corporate Practice Group where he represents middle market companies and family owned businesses as well as capital providers in the structuring and negotiation of financial transactions. He brings a multidisciplinary approach to corporate work through a career as both an attorney and a financial professional, providing valuable insight to transactional matters that must be viewed from multiple perspectives. He also has extensive experience with troubled companies and represents companies, lenders and purchasers in restructuring, workouts and distressed sales.

Mark spent the early part of his career as a commercial lender at a leading Chicago area middle market financial institution. There, he negotiated, evaluated, structured, and monitored financing arrangements for family owned companies and entrepreneurs, providing growth and buyout capital for his clients.
