Kimberly is an associate in the Real Estate & Finance Practice Group. She represents national and regional clients in all aspects of commercial real estate law, including sales, acquisitions, financing, leasing and work-outs. Kim has been involved with various types of transactions involving retail, office, hotel, multi-family and industrial properties. In connection with such transactions, she drafts and negotiates real estate contracts, leases, loan documents and other related documents.
Kimberly is devoted to sustainable business practices. She is an active member of the City of Chicago Green Business Task Force, which was created in 2009 to develop standards for sustainability for business in Chicago. She is also strongly involved in Levenfeld Pearlstein's Green Development Initiative, a firm-wide team which services clients who are in the process of adopting environmentally conscious business and development practices. Kimberly co-authored the chapter “Federal Court Receiverships” in the book Strategic Alternatives for Distressed Businesses (Thompson-West 2008).
