Chris is a partner in the Litigation Practice Group and the Labor & Employment Service Group. His primary focus is the litigation of employment and labor cases for large and middle-market clients. His experience includes litigating actions involving Title VII, ADA, ADEA, FMLA, Illinois Human Rights Act, Illinois Wage Payment Act, and executive-compensation claims in both federal and state courts, as well as charges before the Illinois Human Rights Commission and the EEOC. Chris also handles a high volume of employment-contract cases such as non-competition, non-solicitation, and confidentiality agreements and trade-secret litigation throughout the country.
In addition to his employment-law cases, Chris litigates and arbitrates a large range of commercial-law claims such as contract disputes, shareholder actions, professional liability, real-estate disputes, business-insurance-coverage matters, and various business torts.
Chris has successfully tried cases to verdict, and has arbitrated a number of matters before the NYSE, NASD, and various other self-regulatory agencies.

- Obtaining temporary restraining orders and preliminary and permanent injunctions on behalf of numerous Fortune 500 companies in claims against former executives and employees involving restrictive covenants and trade secrets throughout the United States
- Representing manufacturing, insurance-brokerage, and trade companies against claims of raiding competitors' employees and tortiously interfering with their respective contracts
- Arbitrating compensation claims before the NYSE and NASD on behalf of one of the country's largest banking and investment firms
