Abe is a partner in the Real Estate & Finance Practice Group and focuses on acquisitions, leasing, financing and development. Abe has extensive experience with real estate, including retail shopping centers, industrial facilities, build-to-suits, office buildings, condominiums, multi-family residential, and, most recently, point-of presence telecommunications facilities.
The transactions in which Abe has been involved reflect his experience in handling sophisticated real estate matters, which include the acquisition of Lake Point Tower in Chicago, the largest apartment building in the U.S., the acquisition of the Four Seasons Hotel, New York, the $75 million loan work-out of a mixed-use condominium/commercial project in Northern California, and the development in the Northern suburbs of a 160-unit condominium townhouse project situated on land ground leased from a tax-exempt charitable institution. He has also recently concluded negotiating and drafting the construction and architectural contracts for the development and construction of a high-rise condominium building and a design-built industrial facility.
Abe's clients include both local and national developers of retail, office, hotel, condominium properties, retail and restaurant tenants, manufacturing and light industrial users, and financial institutions.
