Charitable Giving

We know that civic and nonprofit commitments are significant to our clients, their attorneys and for our community. While it is not possible to be responsive to all the individual passions and great work underway, we believe it is important to do more than just what is expected of us. While we continue to respond to the needs and interests of clients, LP established a formal grantmaking program. As with all our work, our Corporate Contributions Guidelines are based on the belief that LP’s accomplishments are routed in accountability and, in supporting the innovation and leadership underway at nonprofit organizations, we extend our ability to make a difference into the community.

Reporting
At Levenfeld Pearlstein, accountability is a priority. While the Firm understands that projects sometimes take unexpected turns, we also know that close attention to detail, flexibility, resourcefulness and focus achieve results. As milestones are reached in a program, we want to know what has been achieved. If serious challenges arise, we want to know how you solved them. Throughout the term of the grant, we will rely on you to provide brief updates and help identify opportunities to strengthen our relationship.

At the end of the grant term, the Firm requires a formal report reviewing the challenges, impact, effectives, learning and outcomes of the grant along with an accounting of all funds. This should be no longer than three to five pages. In the case of multi-year commitments, this grant report will be required prior to distribution of the next round of funding. All multi-year grants are contingent on meeting previously identified goals and objectives.
