We have lined up two all-star panels to address the following “hot topics” on the State of White Collar Crime:

  • “Through a Glass, Darkly: Perspectives on the Current Financial Crisis:”  In a two-part discussion, panelists will address their perspectives on the factors that drove the mortgage-backed securities implosion, how those factors might play into investigations and prosecutions arising out of the credit crisis, and the current and future focus of prosecutors, regulators, defense counsel, and experts in this financial and legal crisis.
  • “I’m a Governor . . . Get Me Out of Here:” In what is sure to be a lively discussion, panelists will explore the impeachment of ex-Governor Rod Blagojevich and his
post-impeachment travails. As an added bonus, a free cocktail reception will follow so that an even livelier discussion may continue into the evening.
